Join us for an exciting adventure where kids build their Lego paradise, only to face unexpected disasters! Will a volcano erupt? Are pirates attacking? Use your creativity and quick thinking to survive the challenge and rebuild your island! An adult must stay with builders ages 5 to 8 and adults are welcome to share in the fun.
Stop by the Library every Monday from 3:30-5:30 p.m. to see friends, relax, enjoy snacks, make a craft, study, play board games or color. Open to grades 6-12.
Baby & Toddler Story Time returns on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 or 11:30 starting on Feb. 4th and running through April 15th, 2025. Experience the fun of rhymes, songs, stories and learning with your baby ages birth to 36 months. Then stay for meaningful, relaxing play and networking time with other parents/caregivers and learn about resources for early literacy development. Pre-registration is requested. NWCPL wants to document local species, and we need your help! Find out how during four first-ever iNaturalist BioBlitz training. This event will introduce participants to the iNaturalist app, which they can use to document different species in the wild.
Note: Our BioBlitz will be reported back to the SciStarter organization to count towards their "One Million Acts of Science" initiative! To learn more, call the library or email amanda@nweb.lib.in.us.
Do you like to knit or crochet? This group is for you! We will meet the third Wednesday of every month to share patterns, work on projects, and enjoy some social time! Instruction will be available for beginners.
