Baby & Toddler Story Time returns on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 or 11:30 starting on October 7th and running through November 25th, 2025. Experience the fun of rhymes, songs, stories and learning with your baby ages birth to 36 months. Then stay for meaningful, relaxing play and networking time with other parents/caregivers and learn about resources for early literacy development. Pre-registration is requested. The library will provide a hearty chowder, french bread, juice boxes and paper products. It is open to all homeschooling families in the area. Each family is asked to sign up to bring a side (veggies or a dessert). The deadline to sign up for our November luncheon/meeting is November 12. The topic for discussion this month will be scheduling field trips in the new year and the possibility of future updates and contacts using WhatsApp as well as sharing ideas within the group.

Preschool Story Time is geared toward ages 3-6 and includes stories, songs, fingerplays, literacy activities and a simple craft. Classes will start on October 8th and continue through November 19th at 10:30 and 11:30 am on Wednesdays. Each class lasts approx. 45 minutes. Registration is requested but visitors are always welcome.

We’ll kick things off with a special holiday-themed story time, followed by a delicious spread of finger foods and warm fellowship with other families. It’s a great time to connect, share, and celebrate the season together.

Former Story Time friends are welcome too—we’d love to see some familiar faces!

On Saturday, December 13, our friends from “Animal Grams” are bringing their Christmas Petting Zoo to town!

Bundle up, step outside, and spend time cuddling, petting, and giggling with these sweet, furry friends. From soft noses to fluffy coats, they’ll bring smiles, laughter, and a whole lot of holiday cheer. Then come on inside for some yummy hot chocolate and some warm up time coloring holiday pages.

It’s the perfect way to make magical memories this season—don’t miss it! 🐾❤️

Join us for a holiday-themed Lego adventure! First, build Santa’s house, then draw a card to discover a North Pole disaster. Can you design a super-speedy toy-making machine or camouflage Santa’s workshop from curious tourists? What if the reindeer are too sleepy—what else could pull the sleigh? Use your creativity to invent solutions for these festive challenges and help save the holiday season! Perfect for budding engineers and imaginative builders ages 5-12. An adult must stay with builders ages 5 to 8 and adults are welcome to share in the fun.
