Youth Programs

Here’s where you’ll find information about youth programs at your library.

PAWS to Read

Paws to Read will be returning to the North Webster Community Public Library on Thursdays in January and February. Reading will start at 4:15. Sign up for a 15 minute appointment to read to a registered therapy dog in a fun and relaxed environment. Registration is required in advance. Sign up in person, by phone at 574-834-7122, or email

LEGO builders ages 5 to 12 meet monthly at the library on the 2nd Saturday at 10:30 a.m., and the following Monday at 5 p.m. for an hour of freestyle building fun. LEGOs are provided. No need to register. Just drop in and join the fun. An adult must stay with builders ages 5 to 8 and adults are welcome to share in the fun.

Family Movie Time

Join us as we munch on free snacks and watch a movie on the large screen TV with surround sound in the library’s North Meeting Room. This month’s Family Movie Time will be on Thursday, January 26 at 5:00pm. We will be showing “Chill Out Scooby-Doo!” It is not rated and lasts 73 minutes. Bring your own water bottle and come join the free family fun at your library.
