Each year, the National Audubon Society, along with Cornell University’s Ornithology Lab, host the Great Backyard Bird count, and the library wants to participate!
Participants can count birds from a location of their choosing, then submit their totals to the NWCPL Citizen Science eBird account. Do you like to knit or crochet? This group is for you! We will meet the third Wednesday of every month to share patterns, work on projects, and enjoy some social time! Instruction will be available for beginners.
Preschool Story Time is geared toward ages 3-6 and includes stories, songs, fingerplays, literacy activities and a simple craft. Classes will start on Feb. 5th and continue through April 16th at 10:30 and 11:30 am on Wednesdays. Each class lasts approx. 45 minutes. Registration is requested but visitors are always welcome.

Back by popular demand is Let’s Move! This dance exercise class will be held once a month and will focus on working out in a fun and active way. Join us for a zumba-style workout. No experience necessary.
A four-legged companion can work wonders! Our certified therapy dog, Irish, will be waiting for you during our PAWS-to-read program on Thursdays starting February 6th.
