A four-legged companion can work wonders! Certified therapy dog Irish will be waiting for you during our PAWS-To-Read program on Thursdays in March. This event provides a comfortable and judgment-free zone for kids to practice their reading and interact with Irish. We are changing up the format of our Beginner Tech program! Are you struggling to learn the basics of your laptop, tablet, or smartphone? Come to this informal program to learn how to operate your new-to-you technology! We will show you how to access the internet, write and send an email, block unwanted callers, delete old texts and messages, download or remove apps, and more! Pre-registration is strongly encouraged.
Calling all LEGO builders! Join us for an exciting adventure where kids build their Lego paradise facing unexpected disasters. Will there be a plane crash? Will a tidal wave hit the island? Will a ghost ship come crashing into port? Use creativity and quick thinking to overcome obstacles and reconstruct your island! An adult must be present with builders aged 5 to 8, and adults can join in on the fun, too.
Stop by the Library every Monday from 3:30-5:30 p.m. to see friends, relax, enjoy snacks, make a craft, study, play board games or color. Open to grades 6-12.

Baby & Toddler Story Time returns on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 or 11:30 starting on February 4th and running through April 15th, 2025. Experience the fun of rhymes, songs, stories and learning with your baby ages birth to 36 months. Then stay for meaningful, relaxing play and networking time with other parents/caregivers and learn about resources for early literacy development. Pre-registration is requested. Create, share, grow. Meet at The River Coffeehouse. Share your own creative work or something that inspires you. This is a collaborative program between Syracuse Public Library and North Webster Community Public Library. Open to all teens grades 6-12. There is no cost for this program.
Preschool Story Time is geared toward ages 3-6 and includes stories, songs, fingerplays, literacy activities and a simple craft. Classes will start on Feb. 5th and continue through April 16th at 10:30 and 11:30 am on Wednesdays. Each class lasts approx. 45 minutes. Registration is requested but visitors are always welcome.
