The North Webster Community Public Library is excited to announce another round of the comprehensive health program titled “A Matter of Balance,” aimed at empowering older adults to take control of their fall-related concerns and enhance their activity levels. The program will consist of a series of engaging two-hour classes held on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 10:30 am-12:30 pm starting Monday, April 28, running through Wednesday, May 21. Limited seating is available, with a maximum of 12 participants per session. Participants are kindly urged to attend all sessions to fully benefit from the program’s valuable insights. Teen Mindfulness Toolkits

Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to spend the afternoon creating their own personalized mindfulness toolkits! We’ll make several simple crafts designed to help manage stress and promote calm. During the program, we’ll also discuss how to develop individual mindfulness practices, including breathing techniques. Each participant will decorate their own "toolbox" with washi tape and take it home with them. This will be a great time to connect with yourself and others before the end of the school year!

Registration is suggested, walk-ins are welcome. Register your teen by calling the library.
