Get ready to unleash your creativity every Thursday this summer! Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to join us for Teen Makers, a hands-on program where you'll explore a new creative project each week. Whether you’re crafting with 3D pens, designing your own buttons, or creating colorful art with perler beads, there's something for every maker. Come hang out, collaborate with friends, and let your imagination run wild!
Curious how to turn creativity into a career? Join us for our Arts in Careers series at the library! In this interactive workshop, we’ll welcome Madacyne Leatherman from Cyne Art & Tattoo Studio in downtown North Webster. She’ll share her background in the arts and how she found her path into the world of tattooing. Participants will also get the chance to express themselves through a creative, hands-on art activity — no needles involved! Open to teens and adults ages 13 and up. Registration is required; space is limited.
Help your child build confidence and independence in this fun, hands-on class! With guidance from an experienced instructor, students will learn important safety skills for staying home alone, caring for younger siblings, and handling babysitting duties. Through interactive games and role-playing activities, they'll practice real-life scenarios and even learn rescue techniques like choking rescue and CPR using mannequins. Heading back to school? Come chill with us and build your own Back to School Survival Kit! We’ll have snacks, music, and a DIY station where you can grab essentials like gum, highlighters, sticky notes, snacks, and more. Leave with tips from other teens, a few surprises, and everything you need to start the year strong. Grades 6–12. No registration necessary, just drop in!
