Winter Reading Program

Register now! Reading starts January 1st!

Track your reading to win some fantastic bookish prizes this winter! Earn a drawing ticket by completing one or more of the following:

– 1 ticket for every 100 pages read

– attend a library program

– complete a DIY craft

– complete a puzzle challenge packet

Prize drawings will occur monthly through the winter. Call or stop by the library for more information.

Cookbook Club

Second Tuesday of the month, 11:00 a.m.

 Join us at 11:00 a.m. on the second Tuesday of every month in the library’s meeting room and kitchen space. Bring a recipe and dish to share based on our monthly themes.

February’s Theme:

Everyone has their favorite recipes, and throughout history, America’s Commanders-in-Chief have been no exception! In honor of President’s Day, this month’s meeting will focus on the Presidents and their favorite dishes! Bring your own favorite recipe and/or a dish to share, and Amanda will give a short presentation on what foods the Presidents have enjoyed over the years…you may even learn an Executive recipe to try yourself!

Writer’s Corner

Fourth Monday of the month, 10:15 a.m.

 Join us at 10:15 a.m. on the fourth Monday of every month in the library’s conference room. For more information, contact NWCPL and ask for Amanda.

Adult Craft Class

Tuesday, February 14th at 2 p.m.

This month we will be making wooden cardinal signs! Please register in advance and let us know what style of sign you will be making! Register at the front desk or over the phone.

Chair Dance for Fitness

Every Thursday 4 p.m. 
This activity is based on the Let’s Move Dance Class, but will be done while seated. Class is free and open to adults of all fitness levels, no registration needed.

Let’s Move!

Every Thursday, 5 p.m.

Have fun dancing for fitness. Learn new dance steps while getting a great workout. Class is free and open to adults of all fitness levels.

Teen Café

Every Monday, 3:30 p.m.

Drop in after school to drink coffee, hang out, study, play a board game, or play Mario Kart on our Nintendo Switch!

Open to grades 7-12.

Fiber Arts Fridays

Second Friday of each month, 2 pm

Get your monthly dose of fiber arts with Fiber Fridays, an informal meetup for knitters, crocheters, spinners and other yarn lovers of all skill levels. Bring a project to work on and/or a favorite pattern to share. We will discuss ideas for future meetings, including teaching sessions, projects, and demonstrations. Help will be available for beginners. P.S. This is not just for “the girls.” Guys are welcome, too!

Glean Team

First 3 Wednesdays of each month, 10 am

Are you into genealogy? Join the Glean Team! We get together the first three Wednesdays of each month at 10 a.m. to collaborate on genealogy projects and share ideas and resources. New members are always welcome.
