Cookbook Club

Second Tuesday of the month, 11:00 a.m.

 Join us at 11:00 a.m. on the second Tuesday of every month in the library’s meeting room and kitchen space. Bring a recipe and dish to share based on our monthly themes.

Join us on Tuesday, September 20th at 5:30 as County Genealogist Faye Myers presents on behalf of the County Historical Society. We will learn about Kosciusko County Historical Society‘s events, services, and genealogy resources.

Fall Brunch with the FOL

Wednesday, September 28 at 10:30 a.m.

The Friends of the Library is hosting a fall brunch on Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 10:30 am. Join us in the Meeting Room to learn about the Friends of the North Webster Library and consider becoming a member. Everyone is welcome!

Needle Felting with Rachel Kruger

Monday, September 19th @ 4:30 p.m.

The library is hosting a fall needle felting workshop presented by Rachel Kruger. Join the class to create these cute wool pumpkins that smell like pumpkin pie. The base cost of the class is $30, which includes needle, wool roving, pad, and expert instruction! Extra pumpkins will be available for purchase for $20. Register at the library, and make checks payable to Rachel Kruger. No children under the age of 13 due to the use of sharp, barbed needles, please.

Local author S.M. Wright will share her experiences as a Sci-fi novelist and short-story writer. She will share the ins and outs of writing and publishing her first two novels, “Heritage Lost” and “Descent” and will introduce the audience to some of the diverse characters of the “Heritage-verse.”

Protect Yourself: Identify and Avoid Scammers

North Webster Police Chief Greg Church will speak on the latest scams, how to identify them, how to avoid them, and what to do if you think you have been scammed.

Writer’s Corner

Fourth Monday of the month, 10:15 a.m.

Adult Craft Class

Tuesday, September 13th at 2:00 p.m.

Tuesday, September 20th at 2:00 p.m.

 

Join us as we make colorful fairy houses out of recycled jars and air-dry clay! This craft is a two-parter. We will meet first to design and sculpt our fairy houses, and reconvene the next week to paint and decorate.

This class is free with all supplies provided. Registration is required, and class size is limited, so reserve your spot early.

Chair Dance for Fitness

Every Thursday 4 p.m. 
This activity is based on the Let’s Move Dance Class, but will be done while seated. Class is free and open to adults of all fitness levels, no registration needed.

Let’s Move!

Every Thursday, 5 p.m.

Have fun dancing for fitness. Learn new dance steps while getting a great workout. Class is free and open to adults of all fitness levels.

Teen Café

Every Monday, 3:30 p.m.

Drop in after school to drink coffee, hang out, study, play a board game, or play Mario Kart on our Nintendo Switch!

Open to grades 7-12.

Fiber Arts Fridays

Second Friday of each month, 2 pm

Get your monthly dose of fiber arts with Fiber Fridays, an informal meetup for knitters, crocheters, spinners and other yarn lovers of all skill levels. Bring a project to work on and/or a favorite pattern to share. We will discuss ideas for future meetings, including teaching sessions, projects, and demonstrations. Help will be available for beginners. P.S. This is not just for “the girls.” Guys are welcome, too!

Glean Team

First 3 Wednesdays of each month, 10 am

Are you into genealogy? Join the Glean Team! We get together the first three Wednesdays of each month at 10 a.m. to collaborate on genealogy projects and share ideas and resources. New members are always welcome.
